Your front desk always knows who's coming.
Residents register guests in the app in seconds, or just ask the AI concierge. Your front desk sees every arrival and checks them in, by the rules you set for each building.
Maya registers Daniel Okafor for tonight, and he's on the front desk's list.

Residents set up every kind of visit
A dinner guest tonight, a dog walker every weekday, or a partner with ongoing access: residents set it up themselves, and bring back a past guest with one tap.

Check guests in with a note and a photo
The front desk sees who's arriving today and who's in the building. One click checks a guest in with a note and a photo, and the resident hears their guest has arrived.

Residents can just ask
Residents ask the AI concierge who's coming over and open any guest to change the time, with no call to the front desk.
Maya asks who's coming over, and opens Daniel's visit to change the end time.

Your rules, building by building
Decide for each building whether guests borrow a desk key, get their own, or unlock doors from their phone, and whether residents can add guests with no end date.

Ask Atlas what your guest log is telling you
Atlas sees guests next to residents and the rest of your business, so it spots what's worth acting on, like a pet walker your residents already trust.
Why guests belong on your Company Brain
A guest tool sees a name at the door. Your Company Brain sees the resident hosting them, their lease, and their history.
| Compared | Guest management point solution | Guests on your Company Brain |
|---|---|---|
| Resident record | A copy of your PMS | The same record your leasing, maintenance, and resident app use |
| Where residents register | A separate app, or a note to the desk | The app they already use for rent and packages, or the AI concierge |
| Front desk | Another system to check | The same Hub your team already works in |
| Guest history | Stays inside the guest tool | On the resident's profile, with everything else |
| Getting started | Another vendor and login | Already on your Company Brain |

Questions about Guests
What is Venn Guests?
Venn Guests is guest and visitor management for apartment buildings, on your Company Brain. Residents register guests in the resident app, the web portal, or with the AI concierge, and your front desk sees every arrival in the Hub, checks guests in and out, and manages keys. It runs on the same resident record as the rest of Venn, so every guest is tied to a real host and unit.
How do residents register a guest?
In the app's Guests screen, they tap New, enter the guest's name and phone number or pick them from their contacts, and choose the visit time. They can make it all day, recurring, or ongoing, and choose settings like desk key use, lockout assistance, and an arrival notification. Then they share the invite with their guest.
Can the front desk add guests for residents?
Yes. Your team can add a guest for any resident from the Hub, including recurring guests with the days and an end date, for residents who call or stop by the desk.
How does check-in work?
The Guests page shows who's arriving today, who's on premises, and who's coming later. Staff click Check in, add an optional note, and can capture a photo of the guest. The guest moves to On premises with a Check out button, and the resident gets a notification that their guest has arrived.
Can guests get keys or digital access?
You decide for each building. Guests can borrow a shared key from the front desk, be issued their own physical key, or get mobile credentials to unlock doors through your access control system, and the Hub tracks which key each guest has. You also choose whether staff can let a locked-out guest back into the unit.
Does Venn work with access control systems for guests?
Yes. Venn connects to access control systems like ButterflyMX and Avigilon (formerly OpenPath), so guest access follows the visit residents set up in Venn.
Explore all connectorsCan residents ask the AI concierge about their guests?
Yes. Residents can ask the AI concierge who's coming over, and it lists their upcoming guests. Tapping a guest opens it in the app, where they can change the time or cancel the visit.
What reporting do I get?
The Guests report shows guests registered, the share residents registered themselves in the app or with the AI concierge, units hosting guests, and front-desk check-ins, with a weekly trend. Breakdowns show who registered each guest, one-time, recurring, and ongoing visits, and the access residents asked for, by building.
